Released in 2016, the Colorado Mountain Incline Rye Whiskey has caught the attention of many whiskey connoisseurs, publications, and spirit competitions across the world. With an opposite mash bill of our bourbon whiskey, the Incline Rye is distilled and aged in Colorado Springs for a minimum of three years in #4 charred, new American white oak barrels. The finished whiskey is blended with a small amount of Indiana rye whiskey and cut with fresh Rocky Mountain water.
On the nose, you will find aromas of clove, warm rye bread, and oak. On the palate, a delightful sweet vanilla, cinnamon, and rich oak linger. Colorado- Made from corn and malted barley. Notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel. Flavors of caramel, dried cherries, and pepper. Smooth, spicy finish that lingers in the mouth.
