"Knob Creek is a small batch bourbon produced by Jim Beam, distilled in a more traditional style and aged 9 nine years. It is named for the area in Kentucky where Abraham Lincoln grew up, it is said that the creek nearly claimed his life when he was swimming. Creamy and rich on the nose, with vanilla bean, tiramisu, and milk chocolate, melding with orange peel, lemon, and fresh rye notes. Deep red fruit and lots of spice on the palate, with chocolate and pepper, then softening into milk chocolate, plum tart, and caramel apples. Rich fruit notes, baked fruit tart, coffee, chocolate, and spice on the finish. Balanced fruit cup sweetness, spice, and chocolate overall. When it comes to making Knob Creek Bourbon, there's a lot of waiting but hardly any sitting around. While each barrel patiently ages in white oak, our distillers continue to raise the standards, fulfilling their commitment to full flavor. The result? An unflinching balance of deep, pre-Prohibition-style bourbon with a robust oak taste, complemented with hints of smooth vanilla and layered caramel. TASTE: Rich, sweet, woody, full-bodied, almost fruity."
