Arette Tequila comes from brothers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain, descendants of one of the most recognized families in the Tequila industry. Their distillery, El Llano, is one of the oldest facilities in the region that still produces Tequila, and is located in the heart of the magical town nestled into the hills right below the Tequila volcano. Arette Reposado Tequila was made using an artisanal process by the finest agave. Only the best barrels were used for this reposado, as it is aged for 11 months in American White Oak barrels that give it its unique aroma, color and smooth flavor that distinguishes this tequila as one of high quality. The Arette Reposado Tequila is mellow and complex. It has a subtle sweeter flavor, silky texture and dazzling golden color that is the perfect ingredient to make a margarita. TASTING NOTES Arette does not allow the heads and tails to re-enter the distillation process, thus creating a smooth, cool and sophisticated style of Tequila. It is a pale gold color. Citrus, grass, mint, flowers and traces of oak show on the nose. It opens softly and relatively dry then passes into citrus notes with a long finish. This is an excellent example of balance between the agave and the barrel.
