A little sweet oak can be found as well (props to u/t8ke for snagging a toasted barrel with some decent age). Palate: Viscous and intense! A blast of rye spice followed by vanilla, toasted oak, brown sugar and tobacco. The proof point on this is perfect, high enough to pack a punch but light enough to keep the spice in check. Ginger root and christmas cake spices round it out. Definitely a desert pour in the trust sense. Finish: Moderate in length but robust.
